The first time in Austria, the BETZ Großschönau is organising a training for "passive house-craftsmen". This course is related to practice and facilities theoretical and practical knowledge on the passive house technology to all craftsmen who are involved in building a passive house.

To meet the quality requirements of a passive house, also the executive staff requires profounded knowledge. In the context of this unique training the craftsmen are learning theoretical knowledge on the passive house technology, intensify it by practical exercises and study topics across the trades.

TARGET AUDIENCE: craftsmen of the building industry, foremen, masons, (construction) carpenters, ventilation engineers, roofers, tinsmiths, plumbers, electricians, manufacturers of windows, etc.

THE TRAINING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING CONTENT:

Introduction and basics, aspects of energy-efficient construction, interface of craftsman, building envelope in solid- and timber- constructions as well as constructions with different types of building material, avoiding of thermal bridges, prepare airtightness, domestic engineering, ventilation and heatin in a passive-house, redevelopment to passive-house-standard, economic efficiency

After passing the exam, the participants receive the certificate "passive house craftsman". Therewith they are evident as qualified specialist for their costumers.

Participants who attend at least 80% of the course, will receive a confirmation of participation. Depending on a sucessful exam a certificate will be issued.

Payment
You receive a registration confirmation and a payment form with the payment by post. Please pay the seminar fee by three weeks before the course starts on our account.

Course cancellation
If a course/seminar will not be materialized, we inform you one week before beginning about the cancellation and you receive the entire seminar fee back.

Cancellation fee
In case that you can’t participate in the course, we request you to inform us immediately.
If the cancellation receives us until 14 days before the course starts, we keep EUR 30,- and up to one week before the course starts EUR 50,-. In case of illness, you may choose an alternative date within the next year. In the worst case it could cause a cancellation. We therefore ask for understanding for the phased cancellation fee.
